Actually other people around that time did say that pac tried to affilate himself with LA based gangs at the time before he was on death row. They said that he never was in a gang though. There was apparently an incident where it backfired on him where some rival gangs chased him down and he hid underneath a car begging for his life. Think other rappers were telling him to leave that shyt alone but he was all trying to prove himself. After all, he didn't start catching cases or had a criminal record until he got a deal.
