They should’ve pushed Shad they same way Erick Sermon pushed Illegal, with those type of raps. That would given Shad the status he wanted.

I get what you mean to some extent but nah

Lil' Bow Wow never released anything like the rest did and no one really knew of him being a part of Death Row Records until way into his SoSoDef career (I know he's in the 'Gin & Juice' video and I think he was on Arsenio Hall but again, he was completely unknown)

He did a handful of songs on the Row which just came out within the last few years (After 3, Dave, etc) but nothing anywhere near substantial
Because he was 5-7 years old lol.

Don't get me wrong, I despise Lil' Bow Wow just as much as the next man but he didn't lie. Whether you say he played a small part in the big scheme of things is besides the point because you yourself acknowledged that he was in the group, Daz said it on video and Snoop has been saying it for the past 25 years.

Lil' Bow Wow was on tour with Snoop which is why they didn't record much together and him being a toddler and all played its part.

WHY??????? How good did that work out for Illegal? :hhh:

:yeshrug:At the end of the day Bow Wow leaving DR and rolling with JD was literally the best move for every single person involved in both sides. He wasn't gonna to be shyt at Death Row even though they discovered him.

Fact. But I was speaking in terms of what he wants with all these interviews and with his previous postings.

He's not wrong.

Lil' Bow Wow was apart of the DPGC (Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Clique). Off the top this encompassed Tha Dogg Pound (Daz & Kurupt), Snoop, LBC Crew, Tha Eastsidaz, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Lil' Malik & Lil' 1/2 Dead.

@1:51

"There's a distinction. Dogg Pound can mean all of our homies. But when we on record, we representing all of our homies. This is the Dogg Pound Gangstaz. We the group, me and Daz."
- Kurupt in 1995 on The Show documentary

Yeah originally Dogg Pound was the name of the entire clique AND the name of the group. It was only later that Tha Dogg Pound became strictly Daz & Kurupt.

I have an old Word Up magazine with an article on them when Dogg Food was dropping and they mentioned Dogg Pound had upcoming artists like Tray Dee, Enemy & Grench (does anybody know what happened to those two or what their names changed to?).

So actually Bow Wow was a part of the Dogg Pound and may have been originally planned to be in the actual group. And it's Death Row promo posters that have Bow Wow's name included as part of the Death Row Roster around 1995. I was looking at old DR interviews and saw the poster in the background.

When he said it during the interview I knew he didn’t mean the actual group. I don’t know why people took it that way

fr Dogg Pound was literally anyone that rocked with Snoop

when Snoop came in the Death Row picture, he brought the Dogg Pound: Daz, Kurupt, Nate, lil .5 Dead...etc.

the actual Death Row group was Daz & Kurupt.
