Im cool with it......fact is, artists here in NYC not named Jay-Z and/or Nas need to step up and making something we can identify with and will be felt universally. All the newer artists here in NYC have failed to do that IMO

Son u got our radio jockeys callin Kendrick the King...then u got our program directors flat out sayin they won't fukk wit our regional sounding stuff...so..while u can blame it on the rappers...u have to blame it on our media outlets in our city as well...we don't get supported at all by our own radios n shyt..how new nikkas gonna win?..

The media outlets are terrible here, but some of these dudes need to send their peoples to chin-check the likes of Funk Master Flex, etc. I dont even know who the DJs are anymore because I stopped listening to radio years ago once I read between the lines
