No she didn't. When Goku died against Cell Gohan said she changed. It was like she realized what Goku's carefree attitude brought to the family and raised Goten to be like kid Goku. That would probably explain why his personality is so much more child-like at the age of 7 compared to how Gohan was at 7. Also explains why his hair was like Goku's at that age whereas Gohan had the long hair/bowl cut

Chi Chi wanted Gohan to be independent and get a good job. She didn't want him to be like Goku. Chi Chi thinks Goku is a bum because even though he saved the world multiple times he still dont make much money.

You know what irks me the most in the DBZ lore other than piccolo not having a house... is goku NOT having money... Dude your the strongest being you and Krillin should be making money hands over fists... Even YAMCHA went into baseball and got rich!!! You telling me you can't open up a heroes for hire business or something that pays the bills??? Krillin should be captain of the damn police force with all the fighting skills he got he'd realistically move up the ranks...
