That's the price it is to get out of DC, they have have separate lanes so you can bypass all that traffic and shyt. But you still get stuck in it.

Took me 8 hours to get from Townsend MD to Richmond, VA (home) and I vowed id never put myself in a situation like that.. Ill take a train..

People travel to DC everyday to work just to sit in traffic hours, they can keep that shyt.

didn’t it go up to 19 and is Verrazano being a 2 way toll bridge new? Last time I used it you only paid one way.

Unless I have to go DEEP into Brooklyn, I’m better off taking the turnpike to the Holland Tunnel, and going over one of the three bridges in Brooklyn. The GPS will have me going from Jersey, to Staten Island, into Brooklyn.

:camby:

On the way back, depending on the time of day, it’s literally the same amount of time in gridlock to get back to the Holland Tunnel, or the Verrazano, despite the Manhattan bridge being RIGHT there. The traffic going out of the Holland comes from multiple directions, and there are only those two lanes. At least with the Lincoln, they open up additional lanes to get out. But that traffic on 278 near those downtown bridges is:
:damn:

After Hurricane Sandy, the Holland was flooded, and everyone had to go out of the Lincoln. It took me 3 hours to get from the Financial District to the Lincoln.

The most ridiculous thing is, I JUST started taking NJ Transit to work this year.
:ahh:
