I don't have an EZPass but they just extended that shyt all they way to the 395 bridge before you get to DC.

I used to be able to get on the HOV into VA before it hit my exit.

It now takes me an extra 20-30 minutes to get home cause people aren't paying those high ass tolls. Although I have never seen it that high before.

New Yorkers have no idea. Dc, London, bay area is paying by disance and they shyt dont run as frequently or 24 hours like hours. this is why i dont say shyt when that MTA fare goes up $0.25

Exactly. The only thing around here that's a set price is the bus.

there are millions of commuters that pay by distance in the "nyc area". Have you ever used the LIRR, Metro north or NJ transit?

That's the pricing for most public transport though if you going from a long distance. Might as well buy a car if that's the case.

Those folks in VA though. Might be too late for them.

I didn't know that before I got here but I can see it now.

I choose here for a few reasons, one of them being it's close to I-95. I can just hop on and see my fam in NC quicker.

Yeah. That’s the trap of VA. It’s nice out there. The commute and a large number of the people...

:rudy:I live in NoVA, and it's pretty easy to avoid toll roads and greenways.
I pay more tolls going to BWI/Marshall than I do at home.

most people that live in the burbs that use the methods of transportation i listed own cars. its still cost prohibitive to drive park near work plus tolls its doeskin make sense.
