It blows my mind how the tv and film animated dc universe destroys everything related. They turn average to boring charactors like vandal savage and gorilla grodd, and make them seem incredibley compelling. They get established stories like all star superman, and tower of babel and make them better than the original source material. The best version of luthor outside of very specific comic tales is animated lex. Kevin Conroy >>>>>>> all actor versions of batman. They created Harley Quinn

Meanwhile dc comics shyts the bed in convluted tales every chance possible, and the marvel animated universe.....has one good show ever. 90s xmen....all other xmen toons including the 00s shyt (astonishing or whatever) blew, spiderman 90s is PURE shyt when you watch now, ultimate spidey is baby food, and dont even get me started on the garbage ass avengers shyts.

How are they so good at animated series and films, and how is marvel so bad?

I really agree with you on the animation part. I mean if you look at the Young Justice squad on paper you immediately think what a bunch of scrubs.

Somehow, the animators put together one of the most well written series in animation history.

Both are classic. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is underrated as well, the animation is mediocre but story-wise it's pretty decent, it really picks up in the second half of Season 1. The Season 1 finale where they go up against Loki was hype. The theme song was too.

90's Spider-Man isn't as good as when it originally aired...but it's still probably the best animated adaptation, so far.

The fact that grodd's city is in africa isnt really a commentary or diss to africa imo at all. Grodd is the 2nd smartest "person" in the world if he was a man (lex luthor, grodd, dr. Sivana). Those gorillas arent africans breh, theyre just fukkin gorillas.

Spiderman TAS from what I remember of it was good and both X Men TAS and Evolution were dope outside of that I haven't been able to get into any of the Marvel releases.

DC kills them in both the animated/movie department.
