James Gunn has been named the head of DC's entertainment studio under the Warner Bros. banner and supposedly there's a lot of change coming. His plans haven't been made official but it sounds as if he's going to want future properties to have some connectivity. Thread will be updated as news comes in. False tweets won't be posted by TS.

What's confirmed/strongly rumored aside from Gunn's new role -

Matt Reeves' The Batman is being followed up with by a 'Penguin' TV show on HBO centered around Colin Farrell. Reeves is reported to be writing/directing a sequel for Batman and there are reports of a show being developed centered around Arkham Asylum.

Todd Phillips is returning to write/direct a sequel to Joker starring Academy Award Winning Actor Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The film is listed as a musical/drama.

There's been a lot of speculation.. with what he's done w/ GOTG and The Suicide Squad he certainly gets the most out of B or C-tier characters.. what's most important to me is where he goes with Superman.

probably as an ensemble. my guess would be Gunn starts w/ mostly A-tier properties..

I'd argue milestone is one of the last untapped cards to play that could shift things more in DC's favor in terms of this universe/movie thing.

The only question is if they have the talent to recruit the black dollar appropriately without fumbling.

hard to tell because it's an elseworlds movie and will probably be an awards bait type movie
it depends on how far along it was

I can't see that happening.. that was being tossed around with the old regime.

Gunn is coming in with his own plan. I imagine Superman must be a priority because I can't see him touching Batman.. DC needs a big new Superman joint
