Post Guardians Of The Galaxy Dave Bautista is on absolute FIRE! Like scorching!We exclusively broke last year that he was playing the assassin Mr. Hinx in the twenty fourth Bond film Spectre and now we found out what he is doing after that films wraps.

Bautista is going to play the bad ass barbarian role of THE KURGAN in Summit'sHighlander reboot for visual effects artist turned first time director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan. The original Highlander, released back in 1986, starred Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman who, after centuries of dueling to survive against others like him, is forced to confront one final foe: the Kurgan, a murderously brutal barbarian who lusts for the prize that comes with being the last immortal. The movie spawned numerous sequels and a tv-show.
