This line of thought is exactly why the DCEU is so garbage now.

Instead we have this quiet, brooding, confused version of superman and its trash.
Man of steel would have been one of the best comic book movie if they managed to get superman's personality right.
Part of the reason cap works so well is because hes brave even BEFORE he got the government roids. We got to see that journey. We get to see him risk his life. We get to see him get up even though hes outmatched. The only thing more boring than a niqqa that can whoop anyone's ass is one that is one that does it while bored. WB fukked up big time thinking anyone wanted to watch that bullshyt.
A good superman movie has to show him being de powered. He has to earn the reputation he has and has to want to save people with a smile, put hope in the hearts of people and put his life on the line because earth is his family. Have him lose his powers, get washed and actually have the audience cheering for him as he continues to fight even when he has nothing. I used to hate superman until I saw the justice league arc where he lost his powers and had to survive in the wasteland. That shyt was FIRE
For all its faults I have to admit the bat vs superman movie got one thing right: batman calling supe on his bullshyt. "You're not brave. Men are brave." Then proceeding to beat the breaks off him and show that he ain't shyt without his powers and cant actually square up.

If you need to hide something from superman, surround it with lead.
One of the most overlooked weakness of superman is that he isnt that smart and can be beaten by outsmarting him. It's why Lex and batman can bring him to his knees if they wanted even though they are just regular people. A proper brainiac arc would make for a great justice league movie.
