I don’t understand why these teachers would think re-enacting genocidal atrocities is what’s necessary to learn about them, there’s no justification for it. A lesson plan reading about it is enough.

Yeah that shyt boggles the mind. When I was in elementary school in the early 90s , we learned about historical events by actually reading about them or watching movies relevant to the topic.

I was in the elementary in the late 90s to early 2Ks. We would learn about the historical events the exact same way in addition to going on field trips to museums or historical sites.

Granted, Hitler was a Jew himself (you’d be surprised how a lotta ppl don’t know that or seem to easily forget that) but it’s still kinda fukked up.
