TBH, my memory might be but I don't remember going over the Holocaust in elementary either (attended elementary 92-97) It was a private Catholic school tho

Didn't get into war crimes until middle school which is when I started the public school system. Most of the teachers were Black and Latino, I remember having a Jewish teacher my 7th grade year for history. They all went IN didn't sugar coat shyt.
