It's funny how this is a one way streetDC has A LOT of single, educated professional black women. Do you suggest they hold out until finding a black male on same socio-economic level or settle for less?
On one hand I understand black women's desperation to find soul mates regardless of race.
On the other hand I see a lot of sisters purposely choosing white males out of their greivances with black men or self hatred.
No, you're just a coward scared too scared to even be honest with yourself. IR isn't a non issue for you you just support it. If it was a non issue you wouldn't be in the thread. You c00ns kill me with the simple psychology.Go to Paris, France and walk around one day. You'd swear every white man has a black woman and every black man has a white woman.
To me, Interracial Dating is pretty much a nonissue![]()
Some areas its bad depending on the crowd your with I remember I went to this nice steakhouse on valentines day and of about the dozen black couples(couples with at least one black person) only me and another couple was not IR, shyt was depressing but it's nothing we can do about it. I'd overall say the further south you go the less of IR shyt you see though
I'm moving to DC for school and I'm tryna live with blacks but it looks like Shaw is all cacs and Ethiopians and old black folk![]()
It doesn't have to be 100% black but I already know my school is going to majority cac/Asian so I would like to at least have some color around meChocolate City is no more, breh. It's Chocolate Swirl.
Check out Hyattsville and Silver Spring. If you want to live in the limits of D.C., there's no place for you to live that is all black and safe. Either you stay in NE/SE around blacks (but, its mad grimey) or you live up in NW but, it's getting moreby the day. Maybe way up Georgia Ave near the Petworth station.
No I just like to come in and read and sometimes laugh at fakkits like you getting their panties in a bunch over something that's not that big a dealNo, you're just a coward scared too scared to even be honest with yourself. c00ns always try and paint race relations as unimportant and no big deal. We don't all live in the sunken place where we pretend to be post racial. You basically just admitted that you came on here to antagonize people. Get a life bytch. No I just like to come in and read and sometimes laugh at fakkits like you getting their panties in a bunch over something that's not that big a deal
Rap music? Shut up nikkaPretty much what i call the "The Grass Is Greener On The Other Side" syndrome. Ive addressed this many times on the forum. In my dating experience i see it all the time where i meet women who feel that way. Taking my experience for example ive met
Again they both swear the grass is greener on the other side and date outside their communities.
- Black American women who stopped dating black American men and date Haitians and other Caribbean men because they feel Caribbean men treat them well and black American men dont.
- Meanwhile you have Caribbean women who dont date caribbean men and date black American men because they feel black American men are more modern/forward thinking and Caribbean men are too old fashion when it comes to treatment of women and gender roles and so on
I think one of the problems in the black american community is that certain rap music has made it popular to mistreat women. Women are mistreated everywhere in the world . Hell some parts in the Caribbean you can still beat your wife and cops wont interfere. It happens but isnt talked about. But when you have a few clowns putting it on blast and bragging about over the airwaves and got kids thinking it's cool it will make SOME women who have never even been in a position to be mistreated/abused to feel a certain type of way by the people she perceives are doing these things.
Thus why ive never been a big fa of this "freedom of expression" model. There has to be certain limits
Like KRS-One said you "Stop the negativity and control our creativity".
Fact.It is...especially in the Northern Virginia. I literally see more black people with other races than I have with other black people.
If I settle in this area...I'm definitely going to the MD side.Fact.
I'm thinking about returning back there.
I'll think I'll park my ass in PG county or Silver springs. I love Maryland and I'll prefer it over NOVA.

I rather stay in DC so I'll check out Shaw/Adams Morgan and near Petworth station
What neighborhood is that?
