I'll agree with you on The Batman (it had it's bright spots, particularly in season four, but was overall hit or miss) and I didn't see enough of Beware the Batman (due to it coming and going so fast), but we'll have to agree to disagree with Brave and the Bold. That show was so, so good, breh. Probably my favorite non-DCAU show.



I remember watching this like " How'd they get away with all of those sexual undertones?" Shades of the original B:TAS right there. TV Standards and Practices must've been asleep that day.

There is one part of the DCAU that I'd be very interested in seeing (besides seeing the Near Apocalypse of 09) and that would be the events that took place after the flashback scene in ROTJ. We know so little about what happened. All that we know is Bruce had a falling out with Superman and the rest of the Justice League as well as his Bat-family. I think there could be a lot of great stories to be told. We could see his final falling out with Nightwing that caused him to leave Gotham for good, his pain and guilt of having to send Tim off after he basically got mutilated (mind and body), and his sexual relationship with Barbara and their eventual falling out. They could show his villains of old start to slowly disappear and introduce newer Bat villains as well and show that Bruce is beginning to age and we could see how he deals with the loss of Alfred and (probably) Jim Gordon as well. I just think there's a lot in that time period that could be (or sadly could have been) explored. Guess we just got to imagine though.

Actually we did get to see how Batman and dikk Grayson (back when he was still Robin) fell out, look up an episode called "Old Wounds". Basically, Robin (Tim Drake) runs into Nightwing and asks him why he stopped being Robin, and then we get an episode-long flashback showing why he quit being Robin.

Well what I meant was the second time he left. He quit being Robin, went out abroad, came back and helped out as Nightwing, and eventually left for Bludhaven and was "bitter" according to Barbara.



Of course, now that I think about it, that could be referring to the story in "Old Wounds" in the video you posted too. I love that episode btw. Through out that episode, you're like " Batman! Dude's a fukkin' a$$hole." but at the end of the episode " I guess Batmans' an alright guy." We also got this line that in this episode:
