It's the last remaining CW superhero show that I really enjoy.
The penultimate episode could have worked as a series finale. I'm fairly confident they will be back for a S8, unless the CW sale effects things greatly. Wouldn't surprise me if next season is indeed the last.

The CW loves giving their long running shows a proper sendoff. So the fact that LOT is getting cancelled means they already have a buyer for their network.

No.. They trimming fat to make it good for a buyer.. CW is CBS (paramount) and Warner Bros. The dont want to co-own and they cant.

Yeah that CW sale is pushing through. I expect a couple of more cancellations and then next year being the final year for a few long tentured shows (Riverdale and Flash) and the rest going to HBO Max when by then, they'll probably launch in more countries (Superman and Lois, All American, Stargirl)
