I guess the idea is that it's exporting the homeless problem instead of creating opportunities for NYers to stay in their homes instead of facing homelessness. There's a lack of steps before homelessness actually occurs, but the final solution itself is something I find hard to find fault in. @The Real

If this leads to improved quality of life for the homeless then there's nothing wrong with it.

This. Every time I see them homeless sitting by, they always posting they need a ticket back to CT, Texas, Upstate, Ohio, PA, etc. nikkas just lose their money somehow.

A lot of black people are voluntarily moving to Atlanta and the south and a lot of PRs are moving to Florida, I don't think those are good or bad trends it's just what it is, just like Europeans neighborhoods disappeared from NYC, some black and Puerto Rican neghiborhoods will dissapear, people focus on whites moving in but there are also a lot of Mexicans and Asians moving in, Dominicans had a spark but they seem to have plateaued

The problem with black people in NYC is the large number of black people in public housing, public housing needs to be eliminated, they are economic hellholes, there is no way black people will build wealth and capital living in government housing

At the very least, they need to do away with the "tower in the park" design, it's a proven failure. I'm pretty sure NYC is the last city with project towers like that.
