Listen Scorsese was on his A-game with both Goodfellas and Casino but I believe the directing job he did on Goodfellas is slightly better. It has scenes in it that nobody could ever recreate, like this.. this is filmmaking genius shyt

Can't put Casino over Goodfellas. Goodfellas just has a pacing and flow to it that Casino lacks imo. Casino drags a bit in some parts and the voice over work isn't as natural as Goodfellas', just a little too much exposition imo whereas Goodfellas showed you more without spelling everything out. They're both classics though

Casino is one of my favorite movies. Robert Deniro's acting was A1 in this movie this scene and the desert scene with pesci are like one of the goat scenes in cinema history in terms of acting.
