My Pops Forever RIP
Why?

Even if you wanted to trade him down the line you'd need to keep what 2 years minimum?
1.

I think it has more to do with people comparing him to Haliburton
It's sadly a big part of his career which he had nothing to do with.

It's why I always hate these "just a get all the best talent and let it work itself out" roster structures. You're banking on someone to fail for you. Of Castle, Harper, and Fox, someone will eventually leave that situation with the fanbase going "good riddance" because they won't all pan out. It's why I at least respect what Portland did with Ayton/Clingan/Yang. They coulda kept everyone and been on some wait and see shyt, but they got rid of the most expensive guy, paid him to go away, because they bought into Yang. They bet on Clingan. They coulda kept Ayton and gotten 16 and 8; he might do more in LA, but I don't have to question Portland's direction. They made a choice and they're gonna live with it, which is usually when a team is ready to compete for real.
