Osweiler was able to go out and beat the Patriots and Bengals last year in the regular season. The Texan's defense was top 3 by the end of the year so there's not too much of a fall off there. O'Brien is supposed to be a QB guru so with a full training camp its no unrealistic to think Osweiler can be productive for next season. O'Brien's system is much simpler

Completed 62% of his passes last year. And it didnt take any draft picks to get him allowing the Texans to go after O line talent

From everything I read, he wasn't happy with how he got benched for Peyton in the playoffs and wasn't really trying to negotiation with them. A Broncos beat reporter said that he stopped returning some players/coaches phone calls 2 weeks ago.

I mean he's good and all and he probably could have played better than Peyton in those playoff games but to be so mad that you want to leave the organization is something else
