First I'm not going to tell the end or give any major details. But if you want no spoilers obviously stop reading.

This is based on a true story. But it's clearly fictionalized. I will give it credit for feelling like a 70's film. They use real life footage from the actual incident. And also do re-enactments that feel like the 70's. So this ain't like Marty where they try to modernize it.

Bill Skarsgard- I am not stan but what I'm about to say next will sound like one. This is Oscar type performance. I really bought that he was revolutionary or crazy person. Depending on who you asked. Definitely brought some intense moments. I wasn't familiar with the real life story so I had no idea who this was gonna wind up. I really don't get why this wasn't push during Oscar time.

Al Pacino- Small role but he did his thing. He definitely was believable as well.

Coleman Domingo- I mean he's consistent. I'm not a stan like alot people but you know what your gonna get from him. Plays a radio personality.

Pace: That first hour is intense. They really into at the beginning. No slow build up. But then it slows it for about 15-20 minutes and I'm looking at my phone. But by the end it picks up at the end.

Negative: If you look into the real story, you'll see how much they change the main character. But to fair, it's not claiming to be biography. Also Coleman character in real life is not Black. You can tell they did just to have a Black character (I would not be surprised if the real life person was :mjpls:).

Overall a solid movie though. But this definitely could be pushed as a Oscar film
