LOTS OF HURT FEELINGS HERE, LET ME CORRECT THE MISCONCEPTIONS...
.

Too much trolling, no need to read any of it. But I bet you're holding out hope for the XBox 1 to support DLNA....you're going to be disappointed.

You must not know how to do it then.

What am I doing wrong? Certain settings? I "borrow" a film on the web from my PC or Phone, and try to stream. And most of my shyt I "borrow" are 720 rips too and it comes out choppy and stuttery.

Breh there is no need to ever stream from your phone

Just in install plex media server on your pc and then add all tour movie folders

If you have a smart tv you can stream directly to your tv.If not you need a device that has a plex or xbmc app to stream it

Unlike the other players in the game, Sony's a content provider as far as music, TV and movies. Sucks, but they're not gonna sell us media and then also provide us a mechanism to get around them selling us that media. Still, I'd stay tuned for a workaround of some sort, you never really know what can happen.
Unlike the other players in the game :wtf:
Xbox has a music and movie service they sell, over XBL and Windows PC which dwarfs the amount of registered users on sony platforms but I'll let you tell it
Xbox even has a movie division that is focusing on making XBL basically a cable channel
While sony been just sitting on its hands for the last decade. Now ya know :lawd:
:lolbron:

Yup, when I got hit with that loss of sound when I was streaming a BRRip I knew what needed to be done... cop a Roku

I've been saying it for a while now, but if you're into streaming downloadable content from your PC, consoles aren't really ideal... especially for movie rips.
Could you for once, stop lying your ass off? I understand you a sony dikk blower, but try to learn about the competition. On xbox, there is NO HASSLE, NO COMPLICATIONS to streaming movies. I stream any and every movie I download via my Xbox. If you have something older than Windows 7, your xbox won't natively recognize MP4. There is an easy patch for that, or you can use DLNA and stream it no issues.
Even an MKV :whew:
I've been doing it, even made a thread on it. Play-To for the win :win:

Learn to read, then you won't be as ignorant to the subject matter. How you gonna not read, then comment :wtf:
As for DLNA on XB1? Microsoft has already said XB1 will support certain apps, and some of those apps use DLNA so its been indirectly confirmed. And the fact Microsoft is on the DLNA board of trustees/whatever
Its a done deal, but feel free to be upset over this revelation :umad:

720 or 1080p, flawless. What are you using as your host device. A phone? What, and what OS is it (android, apple, windows)
You can then wait on us, or you can google it yourself. Look up troubleshooting for DLNA on "android" or whatever and you should find a solution. Its worked flawless for me everytime so I didn't have to do all that...
This says nothing about its power..only about a corporations greed
Which is something you would deny if I was the one to tell you that :snoop:
