"Dead" Promotions that you Still Support

I'm over here watching Tournament of Death from last year, and it made me realized that despite the fact that CZW is long gone from the glory days, they still somehow finding their place in the wrestling business. Yes, the majority of the roster is unrecognizable and under the radar, but I'm treating it like a new beginning for growth and the possibility to last longer than TNA.

Plus the storytelling in CZW always compels me from some strange reason. For instance, right now, Nick Gage has been in a long slow burn feud with another deathmatch wrestler named Judge Dread. During the Anniversary show, Dread shytted on Gage's HOF induction for his brother, Justice Pain. Thus, him and Gage are going to be in the TOD this year.

Anywho, what promotion you follow that's considered "dead" despite still having somewhat of a gate.

Before they went full blown deathwatch mode. Those early years of Best of the Best Trent Acid Sanjay Dutt Ruckus B-Boy etc were fun. Extreme alternative to ROH especially when MLW died and the talent end up in TNA or ROH. Those indy years post death WCW/ECW were joy to watch.

Before they went full blown deathwatch mode. Those early years of Best of the Best Trent Acid Sanjay Dutt Ruckus B-Boy etc were fun. Extreme alternative to ROH especially when MLW died and the talent end up in TNA or ROH. Those indy years post death WCW/ECW were joy to watch.

They're actually focusing more on that aspect, and have the deathmatch stuff for special events like TOD and COD. Lately, its kinda like NXT in the Black and Gold era but with actual storylines lol.

• ICW No Holds Barred- Demonic fukkery if you into death match wresting
• CZW- Stated in the OP and its still delivering, but not like how it was back in the day.
• Beyond Wrestling- They usually do shows on Mondays and Thursdays displaying new talent like a open mic night. Cool stuff.
• Action Wrestling- Eh, its aight...too goofy for my likening but it has a Chikara charm to it
• New Texas Wrestling- Some wrestlers but a fun watch

Back then I would’ve sworn on everything I loved Trent Acid and Ruckus had next

Yeah we joke about the #czwfollies but what about the #czwjollies they even pulled off THREE invasion angles (ROH, IWA-MS, IWS… wack ass XPW was playing dirty). Might have to rewatch the first few BOTBs for real.

And all them jawns were done right . If the ECW one had worked out the kinks, we would have got some gold from that possibility. The ROH/CZW feud should be studied by promotions period.

If we talking pure Dub COD match tho...I would say the suicide kings Vs cult fiction was the best one for me.
