Eazy-E : Really though, the only rapper in the world that got away with having ghost writers and not being called out on it, if he was alive today, people would dismiss him as a has been and in the same lane as most 80's rappers are as far as relevancy

Soulja Slim: Wtf did he do that was so important in hip hop?? :rudy:

Freaky Tah: Don't think anyone's even heard of this dude or if so, don't care for him :camby:

Slim Dunkin: Who? :scusthov:

Big Hawk: Never really cared for him :heh:

pac is a legend...and I dont wish anything bad on him....But to me...I think his career has allot similarities 2 50....well pac was far more talented..but image wise...I think 50 was a force in s-africa...well he was in europe....and now he is a nobody...why?? because he blackballed himself...
and you better believe this...in any case...in every way...you need your network....
and if youre honest..
his relationship with snoop
his relationship with dre
behind the scenes his relationship with suge
his relationship with relevant east coast rappers
etc
etc
etc
at the end of the day...his rage would have ended allot of things
Granted, it's hard to have relationships with a person like 2Pac because he asks for nothing but loyalty...We know his relationship with Snoop went sour, because 2Pac thought Snoop was disloyal...

We don't really know about his relationship with Dre...

If Jay Z and Nas made up, even after Jay Z left used condoms on Nas' babysit, then I am sure 2Pac would have made up with Snoop and Dre...

2Pac said something reckless about Quincy Jones, and when they checked him on that, he apologized and ended up engaged to Quincy's daughter, and working on classic tracks with his future brother in law...

Dude was only 25...He was too young to be judged SO severely...He didn't have the opportunity to look back at his mistakes and try to fix them...

I am 27, and the person I was 2 years ago has changed...I am in a career, I own a house, my finances are stable, and seriously thinking of settling down and building my own clan with my children and my brothers' children...I have stopped thinking about "me" and I am more into building a wealthy "family"...

2Pac didn't have the chance to even start thinking this way in a realistic manner...Jail was still a real threat...He did what he had to do with Suge...2Pac had real KILLERS putting numbers on his head...He needed protection...

2Pac haters are delusional...If 2Pac was your brother would you throw him in the fire? Yes, he talks too much, but when you are in trouble, he is wiling to put his life on the line...You take the good with the bad, when a person shows you that kind of loyalty...

:rudy: because rappers before tupac were only rapping for bytches huh?
Tupac is one of the rappers who popularized ''make music for the bytches, whatever the bytches listen to nikkas will too''
He's as responsible as anybody for the commercialization of hiphop, the demise of lyricism, rise of materialism, marketing gimmicks and much more
2Pac told other rappers trying to jack his lane to "rap for the b+tches" and leave that "pain" music to him, because he was the best at doing it...

2Pac was the first rapper to personalize the music, and expose his life through the music...We all talk as we knew 2Pac, fans and haters alike, yet we have never even had a single conversation with dude...

2Pac is the GOAT because he translated his life through the music in the most authentic manner...A lot of rappers had very interesting backgrounds and experiences, and when I read their stories, I am like "wow, you would even know this when you listen to the music"...That's the difference between 2Pac and 90% of rappers...He told his story in a way that the public could relate and understand, even if they hadn't gone through half the sh+t he went through...

Your favourite "lyricist's" (90%) music don't reach as far as 2Pac because their lyrics are just a collection of punchlines, misused similes and metaphors, and forced double entendres that any body can easily do if they just follow a formula...There is no story behind the words...No lived experience or reflective insight...They are like the pretty girls you meet at the bar, and realize after you have had sex a couple times, they are really shallow, and they are not bringing any form of meaning or perspective to your life...

I might as well just listen to Chief Keef (who is genuinely ignorant and under educated), rather than a pseudo-intelectual trying to pass recycled yahoo jokes for lyrics...

I use to do that as youngin, go to yahoo jokes, pick the ones I liked, and rewrite them in a hip hop context, and people thought I was ill...hahaha...That's what many of your so called "lyricists" are doing...:krs:

Mac Dre is another wack rapper...all that dancing and shyt was suspect. And nikkas throw salt on the south for our dance culture, but Mac Dre was shaking his ass like a stripper every chance he got

his flow was wack, the beats were gay....another nikka that was/is internet famous

Outside of his state, nobody knew who he was. To be honest, before B.E.T's AMERICAN GANGSTER, i NEVER heard of him

you sound silly with that shyt :heh:
