The console market was fine before microsoft and it will be fine without it.

As for who would buy it? Nobody. The brand would be dead. Microsoft would sell off assets individually to maximize profit.
Nintendo isn't a legitimate counter to Sony. We've all seen what happens with companies like Comcast when they have no real competition. Do we really want Sony as the only major player in the mainstream console space?

Microsoft leaving would create a vacuum.

You just KNOW one of those other tech giants are waiting for a chance to enter the market. It would be too crowded right now but microsoft leaving you just know someone would take that spot and go at sonys neck.

Plus pc is becoming a much bigger threat to consoles. I think those steam machines are going to sway more people and attempt to bridge that gap console players are hesitant to cross.

Two huge reasons I purchased an Xbox One:

1. The controller. It's perfect to me. I prefer it.
2. Playing BF4 with my cousin.

Dead Rising 3 was the cherry on top of the deal. I didn't expect to enjoy it anywhere as much as I did.

Yup, I have always preferred Microsoft's controllers over the PlayStation ones.

I am still a bit upset we can't use a wireless xbox one controller on the PC yet (at least officially). The 360 one still works fine for me though :manny:

Ya'll lost if you're not using the XB1 analog sticks with your PS4 controller.
