Sony reportedly offers Disney 30% of Spider-Man, wants Venom in MCU

Disney are the greedy ones. If they give in to Disney's demands, they'd make less on a Spidey movie than the Venom joint that did over 800 million. Nobody would do that.

Current deal is using Spidey as they please in the MCU with ALL merchandising revenue to them and a 5% cut of movie revenue for the direct Spidey titled movies. Sony pays for the movie production too. Now these nikkaz want 50% and the nuthuggers think that's fair?

If Disney balks at this 30% offer, they can go kick rocks. That's ridiculous.
