he played pretty well against SA too for Austin Rivers level, and he didn't lose that game. Blake only had 8 points and Doc Rivers had terrible rotations that game. They were still down 4 with 40 seconds left, are we really going to blame the whole game on 1 play? Clippers had a terrible 3rd Q.

I'm not saying I'm right and other people are wrong, but it's crazy how much opinions can differ. I think Rivers looked competent for one game during the SA series, and has been pretty bad otherwise.

offseason? austin is a free agent and he is not coming back. Doc needs to play gm not daddy. Austin has flashes but he is way too inconsistent. you cant afford to be inconsistent at the back up pg position. i think he's done enough to get maybe a 2 year deal.with a team option. but with another squad, not a championship one.

If I were a Clippers fan I would be hot! Down 4 with under a minute to go, and instead of a play being ran where Blake gets a touch, you have Austin Rivers doing the most, tripping over his own behind the back move and losing the ball out of bounds. I know Blake wanted to slap the shyt out of him for that play.

You are right though, Blake was prob pissed he didn't get the touch to have the opportunity to defer to Barnes

That's the worst part about it. He had a clear path to the basket to get a layup or at least draw a foul.

It just further proves how Rivers isn't starting material and should not be on a court in crunch time.
