Deadwood is in the top 3 of greatest series ever. Al Swearagen is a top 5 TV series character. The dialogue is top shelf. And the series has an ensemble cast that rivals THE WIRE.

Of course you should start it. I just finished it. Nah I am not pissed. I knew there were 3 Seasons, so I just enjoyed the ride.

You could binge the show, but the dialogue is so good that might miss all the verbal daggers thrown.
So I advice you to take it slow with the episodes.

I personally like the throw away stuff, like when Swearengen is looking at that cerebral palsy gimpy chick climbing the stairs and he is all like "Every step an adventure".

Al had so many etherous lines but the funniest line in the show to me was when Cy Tolliver told the prostitute "Ok it's time for you to shut the fukk up and go to sleep" after she said she prays for him.
