so did the Lions not have an opportunity to win the game at the end? missed calls happen, its a part of sports. good teams can overcome them. Lions couldn't keep Dallas out the endzone or score with 2 minutes left in the game. Its no guarantee a PI call would have won the game. People are just salty the Cowboys won and are blaming the Lion's poor second half on one penalty...like cmon

It's amazing that in a game where the Cowboys had 46 yards of penalties called against them and the Lions had 44 yards against them that somehow the narrative is that the Cowboys got ALL the whistles

You're right in that missed calls do happen. But how many times has a call been made, announced, and THEN picked up later.

Detroit was going to be well within Prater's range after that call, even a field goal right there makes it a completely different game.

It's almost like the refs knew the implications of the call and decided to pick it up, no analysts can even attempt an explanation as to why that happened the way it did.
