Also Puma has been making moves in the fashion world and music industry with Rhianna, Jay-Z, and Weeknd. Just had a collaboration with MCM come out and a fashion icon modeling it.

Puma is smart, it's all about visual branding. They saw what Under Armour did with the Steph Curry shoes and thought to themselves, "Those are some pedestrian styled basketball shoes (high class Bobos!)...we KNOW we can out sell those." And what better representation than a Bahamian basketball player who's being drafted #1 in this year draft and stole a Nike player to boot...This is Chess all the way. I sport the cross-trainers and admire the young fellas for thinking outside the box.

Puma Got Bagley and Ayton? 'That's a Problem'

I salute the honesty tho..said he really just tryna take care of the fam :salute:

Consumers don't buy sneakers marketed by big men in this era, so lets not act like this was a hard choice for them. Nike and Adidas probably offered small money making it easy for Puma to outbid them by a couple million. I guarantee you their deals pale in comparison to a James Harden or Dwayne Wade for that matter.
