But what does it mean to be financially stable in modern america?Wanting to be with someone who is financially secure and financially independent is fine but if your debt is 2 or 3 times higher when compared to what you bring home every year after taxes.How can someone even mention financially stability when they are no where near that spectrum.
To me financially stability is being able to live comfortably without having to damage credit and being able to save over 25 percent of my monthly earnings and have multiple incomes that can cover my basic living habits.

Went from a meh salary to a salary and now I'm attending
school for free and double majoring with the goal of a salary.
All while having a home, car, paying my bills etc.
