You're one of the cooler & funnier Pac stans my nikka but come on. Pac's finances were in shambles before his death. That's a fact. He wasn't seeing the money he should've been seeing for being such a successful artist. I believe that played a part in him with this "beef" with the East & particularly Biggie.

honestly speaking when we're talking about the release date of songs that date back to the 90s era it's really hard to pinpoint the main reason was or is is that the mixed tape scene was at its height -u had songs/tracks that were on nikkaz mixtapes weeks• months• even up to a year before being played on the radio or purchasing inna store
like @NYC Rebel said & most older heads from nyc will tell u we heard who shot wayyy before quad/pac shooting

from what I recall the original song who shot you was done by biggie and Keith Murray and it has a slightly different feel to it and puff was supposed to put that on Mary J Blige album which was release sometime in the fall of 94... so the song & lyrics was made/recorded probably about 6 to 8 months before pac even got shot which proves my original point
