This game is 80 hours long? :snoop:

Was about to give it a shot until I Heard that - There's no way delivering packages can stay interesting for that long. Should've been a tight, finely curated linear experience. The fukk I wanna wander around giant empty wastelands with minimal combat for?

Is the exploration amazing? Is there shyt to discover? Cities to run into?
does this game have constant, real combat? how are people feeling so good about moment to moment gameplay that revolves around WALKING? :damn: :damn:

I heard it's 40 hours long to beat, that 80 hour estimate must be fully completing everything times.

What makes this a better walking simulator than Hellblade 2? At least that game made combat a fukking spectacle.

this is a DELIVERY game

:damn:

Edit: I bought the first one and played for 10 hours, dropped it after the graphics wore off

The game pretty much picks up where the last game ends off in terms of mission structure, where you have more variety in objectives than just delivering, and you often deal with human or non-human enemies (sometimes both) in these missions. The new shyt now is there's extreme weather and a day/night cycle to manage now, and obviously new weapons and equipment.

The game is the exact same as the last one in terms of exploration and discovery, and all the same survival and height/weight mechanics are back so if you didn't like all that before it won't change your opinion now.

This is a 10/10 game to me so far.

There's no real combat introduced into the first game until the second area.

And it's never really fully utilized until the end of the game where there's a lot of action in the end and post game missions. Which was the main problem with the first game.

This game pretty much builds off that and gives you guns right in the beginning of the game.

I never gave the first game a chance, because in Kojima games it gets to a point where I have no clue wtf is going on

Currently giving the 1st one last chance. Im locked in to the story and I'm trying to make it to the 3rd chapter when folks say that's when the gameplay loop hooks you
