It was a huge unethical display of tampering and the Knicks went super hard for a guy that is good but not elite. At this point this needs to work dude cannot be injured and cannot underperform.

Not only is his agent the son of our team president but we also brought in Jalen’s father to be an assistant coach on our team.

Just shows we wouldn’t get this guy off the muscle. If the league voided the signing I would understand.

If we were so close to him why would we have to do all that just to get him? And nobody is saying we didn’t tamper. It’s this laughable idea that there are degrees to tampering that I’m pushing back on.

both teams did the same thing. had deals in place prior to free agency. no one is gonna convince me otherwise on that.

Right. But if your NO your argument is you got approached that Lonzo was leaving and you had no choice but to cooperate. Bulls are the culprit in that scenario. Dallas doesn’t have that argument. They’re mad they never got a meeting as if that’s promised to every team looking to re-sign their player in unrestricted free agency.
