I will keep saying I don’t think the trade happens. Stuff like this video is why. Ainge was notorious for not doing deals to make the Celtics better unless he felt he got overpaid for a trade. The main reason Brad Stevens had success was him taking a step back and started making win now moves.
The Jazz didn’t bring Ainge there to do anything but maximize their returns for their players. I don’t think the Knicks get desperate either. I know they want Mitchell, but he is a UFA in three seasons himself, or another player will eventually become available. This a$$hole Ainge is going to wait and see what FO convinces themselves to do something stupid.
