very very early in the tutorial still…just learned about their individual powers and what role colt once played

lot of mystery that has me intrigued

game has a lot of personality too…sneaking about killing folks while what sounds like music from the 60s playing in the background can be very tense lol

I’m getting the feeling like this is a giant game of ‘hitman’ but with far better action

Yeah, I like how the game starts off as "just kill x, y and z" and then it turns into "how can I get x, y and z in the same place and kill them effectively " and then there's this whole military sideplot about it that I haven't completed. Just found out the relationship between Colt and Julianna this session, can't say I'm that surprised, but it really means Julianna is a legit psychopath.

I think one more 3-4 hour session I'll probably have this wrapped up. Every visionary lead is finished except Aleksis because his is kind of hard and cryptic. I also might have to legit write down what I'm doing per time of day so I can remember it for the perfect run.

I haven't hit that part yet, but that confirms my thought on what their situation was. When you think about it, she is REALLY fukked up.

I love how with the nail gun you can feel the nails rattling around in the dual sense, its very fukking cool how they simulate that feeling

You’ll get the feel for it eventually, i was lost for a while also, just follow the leads in the menu it kind of does the guess work for you.

This game has a bit of metroidvania in it due to the gated skill checks. You need certain moves to accomplish things

I’m too old to memorize all this shyt just to play a damn game

If you infuse a slab, weapon, or trinket - it’s yours forever. You’ll have access it at the loadout screen before starting your next loop.

Even if you willingly drop an infused item so you can make room for something else, you’ll get that infused item back later.

so be sure to sacrifice the trash gear and infuse what you want to keep. And don’t get greedy colt- if you just picked up good gear you might want to play conservatively. Otherwise you could die before infusing it.

on another note this game plays horribly with ray tracing on…it kept stuttering and freezing when I was engaged in a firefight with a lot of eternalists, so I went back to performance

on another note this game plays horribly with ray tracing on…it kept stuttering and freezing when I was engaged in a firefight with a lot of enemies, so I went back to performance

not sure what happened. Maybe you didn’t confirm?

you gotta put the cursor on the item, hold square until it’s done. You haven’t scrapped it yet; you basically put it in the junk pile.

then you gotta go to the bottom right part of the screen (the little window that says sacrifice x items) and hold X. That’s how you actually scrap it and get the residuum points.

Finding the pictograms has been a pain in the ass. I wish I had done it the first time i cleared the place out, now everytime i go in there i gotta fight julianna and try not to get caught or else they’ll blow the island up and end the run.

I hate instant death missions in these kind of games
