The way they tried to slide them right into the Kross/Scarlett role was EGREGIOUS!

Also, low key, this could explain the subtle Vince McMahon glazing that's been seeping back into the mainstream from these wrestlers lately. I mean, Cena always was ten toes down, but I've seen more McMahon reputation rehab during wrestler interviews than I have in awhile. The cold, corporate TKO structure is giving that McMahon era a nice, nostalgic sheen in the eyes of talent.

I remember when it looked like Escobar was going to get a major push after turning on Rey/LWO.

So do they base these decisions on merch sales?

It can’t be storylines because that’s on creative.

I feel like these cuts makes the free agent hires seem less appealing. They need mid card talent to do jobs but then cut them when they don’t make enough money or something.

If I left WWE at any point I wouldn’t comeback because they haven’t done shyt with any AEW hires except Cody. Russev “Royce keys” Ethan page etc will all be cut next year or the year after.

Also why do they cut the henchmen ? If the storyline is for a group with henchmen and they perform their role as intended how are they supposed to get over if their job is to be henchmen? And then why cut them?
