Who were you into?

I was big on the Dips and the a lot Roc artist. Being on the Westcoast where I am originally from we just played different shyt usually. But I held on to strictly eastcoast shyt for a while :heh: Just had a higher quality around that time.

If we're talking as an actual group then Mobb >>>>>>> by a wide margin. Infamous and Hell on Earth are both 5 Mic classics - LOX haven't released anything on that level as a group. LOX never really reached their potential as a group to be honest, too many label politics and no real solo album for how long? We Are The Streets aged pretty badly as well.

Solo albums Lox probably have it but you can't discount HNIC, Return of The Mac and Albert Einstein either, and Havoc has been dropping some fire the last few years.

Mobb Deep by a landslide. As a group, The Lox isn't even legendary. They have two albums and neither of them is really essential listening. They did far more individually than they did as a group and still A Gangster And A Gentleman is by far the best to thing to come out of their discography group and solo wise. With Mobb Deep, you don't even have to bring up the solos because their group albums solidify them as legends. Even some of their weaker albums is better than The Lox's two efforts.

If LOX and D Block mixtape stuff in the 2000s includes solo and group. Then its pretty close IMO.

I like and respect all three lox MCs, especially as solo artists.

But, in my opinion, this contest was over the second the lox put on shiny suits and rapped over a Rod Stewart track for puff daddy.

Plus mobb deep is just better. Can't even believe this question is being asked. But hey. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

The lox are the best back and forth duo in rap, and all of rap history.
Plus, styles and jada are both technically more advanced and better emcees than both prodigy and havoc put together..including making more music in bulk that has higher advanced skill sets than mobb deep.

This can't be a discussion about skills, if nikkaz say mobb deep.
This ain't about preference this is who is the most skilled and styles and jada are both more skilled than prodigy and havoc, easy.
