Twitter went wild over Trump's thumbs up to his boy Putin, this included a tweet from the former/current/agent of BLM:

I don't endorse Pence and some of his religious views, but bold is completely false. He supported a law that would allow people to pursue treatments to deal with mental and/or sexual disorders and it was related to HIV/AIDS.
He never explicitly endorsed any sort of therapy specifically for gays. You can claim the language was worded in a way to be a code-word, but you can't say he supported conversion therapy because it's simply not true.
