Yea rough start for him. Oats can’t give him any more minutes at SF until he starts making shots. Once we get Youngblood back our shooting will improve tremendously. Oats is just messing around with line ups and getting everyone minutes right now.

I think he’s just gonna have to adjust to playing off ball. Philon is our PG. We just need to use Sears like a Ray Allen and get him open shots

I still think he’s our best pure scorer but we don’t need him to score 20+ every game like we did last season. He just can’t play lazy defense and have bad turnovers when he’s not scoring well because we have too much talent on the bench. I’m glad Oats benched him to send a message. He brought up players playing selfish after the McNeese and Ark st games and he was mostly referring to Sears there too.
