According to a new report from PWInsider.com, there is growing unrest in the TNA locker room, as several anonymous talents have come forward stating that the company is yet again behind on paychecks.

Sources at TNA headquarters in Nashville have apparently confirmed that many are still waiting to be paid, although there is a dependency over just how long they are behind. Some wrestlers are claiming “two pay periods” while others have indicated they are still awaiting checks going all the way back to February.

The problem seems to stem from parent company Panda Energy, who recently relocated their offices and closed down the department responsible for sending out paychecks to TNA employees. Under past circumstances this sort of thing may have been responsible for a week or two backlog, but given that the company now tapes huge amounts of content at one time, and then does nothing for months as far as talent is considered, delayed payment can be a much bigger problem.

The current schedule is also the subject of a lot of frustration backstage, as TNA has been television-only with a handful of One Night Only tapings since the move to Destination America. There has been talk of getting back into the pay-per-view game with this year’s Slammiversary, and running limited live events over the summer, but current it’s become a necessity for most of the roster to work the independents just to make a consistent living.

Man the struggle is real no live events no ppvs outside of those one night tapings that no one really watches. they tape everything months in advance so the guys and girls have to hustle to do independent shows or have semi regular jobs and there post to be the number two company in the business.:mjlol:

i no the guys and girls in tna are secretly saying to themselves daddy jeff come save us:sadcam:please

TNA office sources in Nashville, Tennessee are confirming that the pay issues are legitimate. In addition, even though a source allegedly denied that TNA was behind on two periods, the source did admit that TNA has recently been behind on getting paychecks to roster talents. TNA is said to be in the process of trying to get a handle on the pay issue. TNA’s paychecks are sent via Dallas, Texas and not in Nashville where TNA is headquartered. Dallas is the home of TNA’s billion dollar parent company, Panda Energy. Another issue is the result of Panda Energy moving its offices, which is still currently ongoing. However, the Panda department that issues TNA office and roster paychecks was reportedly “completely closed.” This is what apparently led to there being a backlog of checks for TNA in recent weeks. It's not that the company is having money issues before those rumors begin.

The recent taping of numerous One Night Only PPV events in Orlando, Florida reportedly caused a lot of payroll expenses as well. The company was not getting revenue from those PPV tapings because they were free, since they were taped at Universal Studios. This was another factor for the backlog of checks that have not been paid out to the roster.

This is no cause for concern...business is going to be fine as soon as they get a new TV deal.

This really is a bad look for them. I still dont know why they dont have small tours and film ppv specials and one or two impacts a night while on the road.

According to ProWrestling.net, TNA is approximately a week behind on talent payroll, claims several TNA talents.

A source noted the checks might be arriving in time for TNA’s upcoming Slammiversary PPV and subsequent TV tapings.

One TNA performer expressed frustration over the company showing off the new X-Division Championship, as he believed it was an expensive new title belt, however according to one source, it’s actually not a new title, it’s just painted a new color.

According to the same source, employees of the company are paid on time, whereas the independent contracts (wrestlers, production staff, etc.) fall victim to the late pay.

Someone needs to find a way to push Dixie Carter out of TNA before she completely butchers that company.
