I'm glad I didn't grow up in the 90s. I was born the early 90s but I am glad I was too young to be heavily involved in it.

Everyone in that decade were complete pretentious fakkits and everything was about being alternative and "against" the mainstream. All the white teens thought they were cool with the acid jeans, shytty haircuts, dude talk, breaking all the rules and grunge apparrel as they griped about the man. Every single black teen thought they were muthafukkin sociological experts with 50 million "black struggle" movies.

90's had wayyyy too much angst to tolerate. :russ:

90's is where we got all of those femnazis, political extremist suburban kids, studio gangstas, burnouts, etc. 80's wasn't perfect but at least people were at least willing to try and get themselves together despite all their obstacles.

Mid 90s repping. I agree to the max with this statement.

In a way, this decade is trying to be the same way if you think about it. But shyt is being done all wrong and rapid to the point were being different is practically being conformist for the sake of being different nowdays.

This decade. I think growing up in previous generations made you tougher. This decade you cant tell the bytches from the nikkas. Lots of bytch nikkas nowadays

Growing up int he past did make you tougher, but it seemed like dudes in the previous areas never really took advantage of the opportunities of the past and they are still struggling today. Talking about "Im hood" or "I came from the streets, nikka!" but you can't pass down wealth or create wealth back when the cost of living was low. :snoop: That alone defeated the purpose of what being tough is, especially when you get nothing out of it.

90s had better quality media and still believed in a (somewhat) traditional family structure. Nowadays, ratchet ass parents still partying and all.
