Keep it real on that (likely) cold morning or afternoon in December 2001, you know you copped that CD, threw it immediately in the Discman or in your car system and has soon as this came on

You was like :ahh:

This is my end and my new beginning Nostalgia
Alpha and Omega places, it's like a glitch in the matrix

These bars summed up what Nasir did with Stillmatic.

He was left for dead and rotten, and he proved to the entire game that he was the N-A-S-I-R, and if he wasn't; he must have been Escobar.

Everytime I play My Country I sing the hook loud, that song wasn't just about just about growing up into a lower social class. It was about doing all the right things and still getting bamboozled. For example, graduating with a degree and not working in a desired field, because the older dinosaurs fukked up the economy and the shambles trickling down to the younger generation trying to get affloat.

Also, "George Bush killer or George Bush kill me." :whew:

We made it, because it was looking shakey at the end of 2001. :obama:

Played this whole album again today. This album always brings me back to my freshman year of college. I bumped this album so damn much in 2001-2002.
