Its not about what one buys, its about what one has the potential to earn or what they've already earned. Thugs are perceived as being able to gain resources relatively quickly due to their 'alpha' fearless nature.

In a low income area where legal opportunities are scarce, criminals have higher earning potential for the short term. Women can sense that, its innate. You dont have to buy a woman anything, just make her feel secure (either physically or financially) in your presence.

The only logical explanation is that many of these women have a false ideal of manhood. If they werent raised in a household with a strong father then she'll be clueless about men.
