I live in Brooklyn and a few months ago I came across 1992 Deep Cover. I threw that joint on at full blast. Brehs I got the chills listening to that shyt.

The only thing Dre's version has for it is the hook. Pun and Joe completely bodied their song

Snoop had the game in a stand still when "Deep Cover" came out. Even my moms was like wow that voice!

Deep Cover because its the original and when it came out it had the streets bowing down. Deep Cover was an out of nowhere 1992 summer banger. When Pun and Joe did it they were resurrecting the spirit that Dre and Snoop already put out there, thats why the original has the edge because it made a mark on its own. This was not a situation like Bobby Shmurda taking a 2 year old beat and making it better...NO...The original was already a big hit in the streets.
