I'm starting to think that conceding a relationship to a woman is just something most men do to appease them.

it likely goes like this:
1. guy meets girl
2. guy pursues girl for sex
3. girl gives up sex to guy
4. guy and girl are in grey area where they're basically fukk buddies
5. girl pressures guy into relationship
6. guy concedes and relationship begins
7. relationship progresses and girl begins to pressure for marriage
8. guy concedes and proposes and now engaged
9. marriage
10. girl gets pregnant

the majority of men don't want things to go past step 4. the majority of women have the ultimate goal of step 9. step 10 can happen anywhere after step 3 and doesn't have to be last. if it happens earlier its typically a pressure for marriage.

the real deal for most guys is there's no reason or advantage for ever progressing past step 4 and when step 5 happens they should just bail. relationships just birth problems and obligations. they're nothing but a hassle and for the most part they don't end well and marriage is just a legal binding contract that says if the relationship doesn't work out you'll accept responsibility for all the liabilities and agree to pay alimony if she made less than you. the advantages of a marriage are none-existent for a guy.

a lot of this is just a snowball once step 5 happens.

steps 1-4 in my youthful was so

after i had my fun steps 5-10 i was ready and willing to do with no regrets
