showtime gave him his own show in "white famous" and that only lasted one season, which is shocking since showtime rarely cancels ANY show prior to like 8 seasons it seems.

He needed that Showtime show "White Famous" to work out. Most SNL cast members only get so many shots outside the show to make that leap to bigger stardom
