It was actually done for a studio, and kind of pushed off to Hulu after a merger of Warner Bros and Disney? I think. Also, think it was shot in 2019. It's by Adrian Lyne, who is one of my favorite directors,

early reviews are pretty bad, to mixed at best, so I am not expecting much, reading the novel now, it's Patricia Highsmith, who wrote The Talented Mr. Ripley.
