just watched the season finale and that felt more like a series finale

i didnt like how the ended the Omec story

Nolan killed Tevkins daughter way too easy

only bringing down 2 Omecs at a time

not having anybody guard the pods

the last 10 minutes were great though

hopefully they bring it back but you cant tell by how they ended it they might not be bringing it back

If they do come back they would have to do some type of jump ahead by 5 or so years to explain how Nolan and Doc Yule found Earth again.

Or they could have 2 separate storylines

Have one in Defiance about whatever is going on there and another about Nolans space adventures

They also could do a spinoff show with Nolan in space but I doubt that happens

I hope this isn't the end but if it is im ok with the ending too

What are the Omecs going to eat when they wake up? More importantly, what is Nolan eating now? I expected that the last scene was going to be him in a stasis pod.

It would be pretty hard to continue the show without their star, and pretty hard to come up with an excuse for him making it back to Earth.
