real shyt right there. i can't tell you how many nikkas i grew up with who claimed to be hood but they lived right down the street from me or same neighborhood with very similar circumstances. and now they got themselves into some shyt.

I had actually been meaning to start a thread on this before cause a few days ago two rich kids from Canada whose moms is a diplomat assigned to represent in Miami tried to rob a dope boy down in MIA and one of them got killed and the other will prolly spend a large portion of his adult life in prison.
These kids were raised privileged and borrowed they moms BMW to do some hood shyt they see in movies and hear they favorite rappers talk about they did NOT have to do and look where it got them.
We need to address why young men of color feel the need to shun a good upbringing and lifestyle because they think it makes them less "authentic" or "real".
