Sittin' here playing the whole '93 Till Infinity' album over my morning coffee and thinking how that first batch of Hiero albums hold up as well as anything in rap's history. I really wish people, specifically Hiero, still made beats like this.

Yeah, I miss the shyt too man. The variety of sounds the Bay had around
this time....Hiero and mobb music was killin it out here. Streets, radio, a really dope time.

Those early to mid 90's years the Bay had so many different sounds and all of the music was just beautiful. A bunch of young brothas from the same streets but made different music. That was what hip hop was all about.

Hiero Hobo Junction radio battles for bragging rights, different collabs and features that went state n nation wide. Local acts celebrated in the streets, house parties and school dances. Everything you could ask for from the cypher shyt to the gangsta to the conscious.

outside of '93 til.. that Casual "Fear Itself", and the remixes/B-sides of that album was their best work..

I was a huge fan of all the Bay music.. from RBL, Quinn, Heiro, Coup.. so many different sounds.. was able to make it out to the Bay for the first time around '93.. stayed there for a few months, and it's almost impossible to not like Bay Area music if you've spent time there..

I fukk with the Bay, heavy.. :salute:

His best work, in my opinion.

I've been playin' "You're in Shambles" since the album dropped!! That beat was serious.
when that first verse kicks in.. :wow:
